Our Park is an ideal place to use as your base on the Great Ocean Road.
Great Ocean Road Tourist Park features Riverfront, Spa, Deluxe and newly renovated Ensuite cabins, as well as powered and unpowered sites in a picturesque, tranquil setting.
The Park is situated on the Great Ocean Road in Peterborough, right on the banks of the Curdies River Inlet.
On the eastern side of the river mouth is Port Campbell National Park and on the western side of Peterborough is the Bay of Islands Coastal Park.
Both are characterised by sheer limestone cliffs, offshore islands, towering rock stacks, gorges, arches, blowholes and other striking rock formations.
The Park is a member of the Top Tourist Parks of Australia chain and offers discounts to all members.
Great Ocean Road Tourist Park is situated on the banks of the Curdies River inlet.
This area is very popular with fishermen for estuary and surf fishing, cray fishing and diving. The sandy beach at the mouth of the river is a popular spot for swimmers of all ages.
Curdies Inlet is a large open stretch of calm water behind the sand dunes which is in considerable contrast to the turbulence of the Southern Ocean. It offers safe swimming, sailboarding, boating and fishing opportunities.
The Park also runs a number of Christmas school holiday activities including sandcastle competitions and, face painting. Easter 2010 also saw the inaugural "Paint a Pole" day which raised $300 for the Royal Children's Hospital Good Friday appeal.
